Climate Safe Streets Rides to Harrow Civic Centre – Sat 16 April

2022’s council elections are a vital point in London’s zero-carbon journey. Motor vehicles are the largest and most stubborn source of London’s emissions, and borough councils control 95% of the city’s roads. Harrow council needs to act in the next four years and be bold – or it’ll be too late to get to zero carbon roads by 2030.

Harrow residents rode from Rayners Lane station and Canons Park to the civic centre to send a message to Harrow Council to commit to our 5 asks for Climate Safe Streets. Representatives from the Green Party, Labour Party and Liberal Democrats also attended the ride. The Harrow Green Party has already pledged to support our 5 asks: lcc.org.uk/climate
